Lawman: Donna Killmer is a dressmaker in Laramie. Her brother-in-law, Al, returns with her estranged husband Joe. Joe had left Donna to become an outlaw, and got shot. Al came up with a scheme for Donna to turn Joe in, collect the reward money, let the state take of his medical bills, and then break him out before he goes to trial. Donna reluctantly brings Joe to the marshall's office, and Dan immediately suspects that something's not right. Donna changes her mind, and decides to give Joe a choice. Joe can either go back with Al's gang, or to pay his debt to society, then come back and start over with her.
