The Auction House: The daily workings of Lots Road Auctions in Chelsea, an Aladdin's cave bursting with artefacts that showcase the ever-changing tastes of London's super-rich. Visited by eagle-eyed collectors, opportunistic dealers and eccentric staff, the auction house oversees the buying and selling of more than 400 items each week. In the first edition, irritable boss Roger decides that Lots Road needs a radical facelift, while regular visitors Sam and Lili go in search of furniture for their seven-bedroom mansion, and a rather unusual piece of art attracts Lili's attention.
