The Bold and the Beautiful: Taylor is stunned to hear from Stephanie that Rick enlisted in the Army. Brooke sees Ridge dangling from the edge of the roof and Rick hanging on to him. Ridge narrowly escapes death and Rick says that he couldn't let him die. Rick tells Brooke not to tell the family that he just saved Ridge and is to be kept between them only. Ridge explains to Stephanie that Rick isn't to blame for Phoebe's death and for him going over on the roof, and practically saved his life and will probably use this to his advantage. Brooke says that she saw everything and Rick doesn't want anyone else to know, Ridge says that he wants everyone to know. Rick leaves a letter for Steffy saying he's not giving up on them. Taylor looks back and says that she had the perfect life with Ridge and it was destroyed by the Logan's. Rick gets the last word in on an overconfident Stephanie, when she accuses him of knowing that the army wouldn't take him. Brooke begs Ridge in not to do anything to Rick.
