Judge Owens denies it. He also refuses to accept the goodbye text message on Shane's phone as evidence that he was suicidal. Jennifer begins ripping into Christine's case when she tries to bar the prosecution using Ridge's prior conviction, explaining that Ridge didn't shoot Grant. Taylor gives her professional opinion that Rick is suffering from repressed memories. Rick walks in and confesses to shooting Grant.
