EastEnders: Sharon is furious at Chrissie's arrest, insisting she can’t have been involved in Den’s death. Chrissie pleads her innocence to the police and plays the perfect victim, feigning disbelief that Sam would have the gall to use her to cover for her own husband's murder. She also uses the same story that Stacey gave her, putting her in the clear.Charlie berates Stacey for giving a false alibi for Zoe while Kat impresses the seriousness of her lying to cover for Zoe and then thanks her for it.Sam tells the police about the murder weapon when they find blood under her kitchen sink. They remove the doorstop from Pauline’s house. With Chrissie havening an alibi and all evidence pointing at Sam, the police charge her for the murder of Den.Sharon goes into the Vic and sobs to Dennis. She is shocked when he shows no emotion over Dens death and asks him if he wanted Den dead. He replies yes and Sharon storms out.The police release Chrissie and as she walks out, Jake appears. She is shocked to see him back and they hug.
