All the Queens Men

Late in World War II, the Brits still want their hands on a German Enigma, the typewriter-like machine that constructs and sends coded messages. Parachuting behind enemy lines - with two days to find the factory where Enigmas are made, grab one, and get out - are an unlikely quartet: a queen, a pencil pusher, a bookworm, and an almost secret agent. Plus they are all dressed as women, with only a crash course from the queen. They reach their destination, rendezvous with their German contact, a lovely librarian, and start their search. They seemed doomed to fail; is this a fool's errand?

Drake is a good investigator and soon learns that his mother-in-law to be is running an escort bureau. He makes her promise to give up the business and promises not to tell June. But Gregory fears Drake will put an end to his operation. Drake, working undercover, calls the bureau for a date to be sent over so he can get the goods on the bureau. But scheming Gregory, giving her another reason, has June go to Drake\'s undercover apartment. Drake is a bit put out to discover that his fiancée is an escort girl and she is having a hard time convincing him she isn\'t. Then Mama Ruth shows up, and crafty Gregory shows up and two of the four people in the room end up dead.$

The humor is still rough: he kicks an older assistant in the face and allows him to be run over by a truck.$

In the Park (1915)

$Watch In the Park Vumoo-A tramp steals a girl\'s handbag, but when he tries to pick Charlie\'s pocket loses his cigarettes and matches. He rescues a hot dog man from a thug, but takes a few with his walking stick. When the thief tries to take some of Charlie\'s sausages, Charlie gets the handbag. The handbag makes its way from person to person to its owner, who is angry with her boyfriend who didn\'t protect her in the first place. The boyfriend goes to throw himself in the lake in despair. Charlies helps him.$
