Director Roger Vadim's remake of Max Ophuls' classic post war film "La Ronde," about various people having affairs, eventually forming a chain that comes full circle. Billed as "The Married Woman", Jane Fonda is a wife who has a fling with a young student - one of a chain of sexual liaisons that take place in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, the day Archduke Ferdinand is assassinated.
